Argentina FAA published an international tender with the aim of acquiring an Embraer ERJ-140 or ERJ-145 aircraft.
Under the terms of the call, the new aircraft must have AE3007 engines that have a minimum of 3,000 cycles available before overhaul. The aircraft must have a minimum capacity of 43 seats in the case of the ERJ-140 model, or 49 seats in the ERJ-145 configuration, and will be delivered under the “turnkey” modality.
The submission of bids was set for June 13, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. (Washington D.C. time). The successful bidder must ensure the operational delivery of the aircraft within a period not exceeding 90 days from its induction.
