The Ecuadorian Air Force (FAE) has allocated US$ 10 million dollars, in order to start maintenance processes for some of its aircraft. The program, comprises 19 contractual processes the FAE is preparing to acquire the spare parts and parts necessary for the maintenance of various aircraft, both transport and air superiority.
Several of these projects would be executed. Programs will focus on the maintenance of three Airbus C295M transport aircraft, as well as a Lockheed Marin C-130 Hercules, belonging to the Transportation Wing No. 11, for values of 8.9 million dollars.
Likewise, $ 573,000 will be invested for the purchase of spare parts, acquired from Denel Aviation, with which the maintenance of an undetermined number of Atlas Cheetah C / D planes, belonging to the No. 21 Combat Wing, will be carried out.
Also the Embraer EMB-314 Super Tucano aircraft, belonging to the Combat Wing No. 23, are being maintained and repaired by the Integrated Procurement Technologies company, as well as by the Diaf and in which they would have invested approximately $ 176,000.
